• Condenser — A pair of large diaphragm condenser microphones, giving a full and present tone to the piano.
• Ribbon — A pair of vintage ribbon microphones, giving a warm and rounded tone to the piano. 
• Hammers — A set of sounds focusing on the hammers of the piano, adding more depth to a performance.

Wurli

Presets

• Classic — A standard representation of the Wurli keyboard
• Mellow — A combination of the direct input and amp with the pad signal, for a soft and warm sound
• Funky — A combination of the direct input and amp with the overdrive signal, useful in jazz and funk styles
• Stabs — Makes use of shorter recorded sample lengths, useful for percussive and rhythmic passages

Signals

• Direct — The direct input from the Wurli, for a clear representation of the keyboard
• Amp —The keyboard amplified through a Ampeg B-15 amplifier
• Speaker — The speaker output of the Wurli
• Pads — The samples time stretched and passed through an FX chain, to create an atmospheric and ambient texture
• Drive — The samples overdriven to create a crunchy and fuzzy sound

Controls

• Reverb — Controls the amount of reverb
• Attack — Controls the attack of the ADSR envelope
• Release — Controls the release of the ADSR envelope
• Tremolo: Rate — Controls the speed of the tremolo, measured in Hz
• Tremolo: Depth — Controls the size of the amplitude modulation, measured as an intensity in percentage

• Close — A trio of valve microphones placed close to the hammers for detail and intimacy.
• Mix — A mix of Tree and Ambient arrays, capturing the resonance of Lyndhurst Hall at Air Studios.
• Pad — The piano samples passed through magnetic tape and outboard effects to create an ethereal texture.

Intimate Grand Piano

Presets (8)

• Direct — The close condensers with reduced mechanical sounds of the hammers and pedal
• Intimate — A dry and characterful mix of the two close microphones with the mechanical sounds of the hammers and pedal increased
• Broad — A blend of all three signals provides a versatile and characterful sound
• Reverberant Ribbons — The ribbons, KU100 and a generous helping of reverb for a colourful, cinematic sound
• Ambient — The Binaural signal with the reverb turned up
• Soft Drama — A combination of all three signals provides a dramatic and suspenseful sound
• Subdued — The upper dynamic layer has been removed to remove brightness from the piano, useful for gentle and pensive moods
• Dynamic — The variance in dynamic layers is emphasised to allow for greater control over expression and nuance of the piano

• Condenser — a pair of Neumann M149 microphones for a crisp, full bodied sound.
• Ribbon — a pair of Coles 4038 ribbon microphones providing a characterful and warm sound.
• Binaural — Neumann KU100 dummy head, providing a realistic image of the piano, as if you were sitting at the piano yourself. Works particularly well with reverb.

• Close — Condenser microphones placed over each shoulder of the player for an intimate and defined sound
• Mid — A stereo pair blended with a vintage mono signal for a characterful sound
• Pad — Piano samples recorded with the middle pedal pressed, allowing the resonating strings to create a natural reverberant pad
